NLC&M created a group benefit plan in the late 60's to provide members with comprehensive, pooled health insurance coverage. The League's health plan is a fully funded plan that offers competitive rates and includes medical, dental, vision & life insurance for employees, dependents and retirees. It is available to any city, county, school district, hospital, GID's, water district or other local government entities in Nevada.

To provide better benefits and rates to plan participants NLC's staff has adopted a pro-active plan to develop a more competitive program. We have been researching available options and trends, determining outside competition and identifying challenges. As a result we have added three (3) new medical plan options for a total of five (5) medical plans, (3) dental plans, vision and term life insurance. In addition, we are always exploring new options that will meet our internal administrative needs as well as those of the participating entities and their employees.
